Stage 1: We fit the panel(s) to your roof:

Stage 2: We replace your hot water cylinder with a high efficiency twin coil cylinder. The solar panel will heat the bottom of the tank and your boiler will top up the heat if required.
Note: In certain cases it is possible to retain the existing hot water cylinder and fit a retro coil in thee place of your existing immersion heater. This system is far less efficient but does have the benefit of saving the old cylinder and reducing the overall cost.
Stage 3: We install a pump to circulate the heat collected from the solar panel into the hot water cylinder. This is controlled by an electronic controller that switches on the pump only when the temperature of the panel is greater than that of the water cylinder.

Stage 4: Using a special high pressure solar flushing / filtering / filling pump we fill the system with high temperature corrosion inhibited antifreeze, pressurize and commission the system.

Stage 5: The sun comes out and you start enjoying free hot water (and reducing your carbon foot print!)
